A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Angela Franks was celebrated Sept. 26 at Mount Notre Dame Health Center in Cincinnati. Sister Angela, 95, died Sept. 23, in the 77^th year of her religious life.

A Dayton native, Sister Angela was an educator for more than 30 years, teaching in Ohio parish schools, including St. Mary in Hamilton; Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Reading; St. Xavier Commercial; and Mount Notre Dame High in Cincinnati. She also served in several administrative departments of the Ohio Province of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.

Sister Angela retired in 1999 to community service and prayer ministry. Interment was in the province cemetery.
