The Family and Respect Life Office (FARLO) of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati has launched a web page dedicated to the World Meeting of Families schedule to take place Sept. 22-27, 2015 in Philadelphia.

Pope Francis announced in a speech Nov. 17 that he plans to attend the World Meeting of Families.

“I would like to confirm that, God willing, in September 2015 I will go to Philadelphia for the eighth World Meeting of Families,” the pope said.

The announcement had been widely expected, since Pope Benedict XVI had said before his retirement that he hoped to attend the Philadelphia event. Popes typically fulfill their predecessors’ publicly known travel plans.

The webpage launched by FARLO is an aggregation of links to relevant information about the World Meeting of Families. It primarily links to the World Meeting of Families official website.

The FARLO page also includes a “Prayer for the Meeting of Families.”
