Archdiocesan forum focuses on Africa

ST. FRANCIS DE SALES DEANERY — The archdiocesan offices of Mission and African-American Catholic Ministries, in cooperation with the Alliance for Progressive Africa, will sponsor an African Forum from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 24, at St. Agnes Church in Bond Hill.

Two sessions of breakout workshops will cover such topics as “Advocacy of U.S. Decisions Concerning Africa,” “The Challenge of African Identity in the U.S.,” “The Myths and Truths of the Muslim and Christian Dialogue” and “Community Building within the African Communities.” There will also be a workshop specifically for high school youth.
