Area Catholic high schools mark commencement

ARCHDIOCESE — Graduation season is one again upon us and area students will soon be donning their caps and gowns, marking the end of their Catholic high school years and looking to the future with faith and enthusiasm.

The Catholic Telegraph presents its annual list of graduation information to help our readers make plans to celebrate the accomplishments of family members and friends.

Archbishop Alter High School
The baccalaureate Mass is scheduled for May 29, 6 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo in Kettering. The commencement ceremony is May 30, at 9:30 a.m., at James S. Trent Arena in Kettering. Valedictorian is Ellen Smith; salutatorian is Allysia Stover.

Roger Bacon High School
The baccalaureate Mass is scheduled for June 4, 8:30 a.m. The commencement ceremony is June 5, 8 p.m. Both events take place in the school’s Fogarty Gym. Valedictorian is Carolyn Williams; salutatorian is Rebecca Tyler.

Stephen T. Badin High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated May 28, at Sacred Heart Church in Fairfield. Commencement will be held May 29 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Liberty Township. Valedictorians: Benjamin Motley and Matthew Roesch.

Carroll High School
The baccalaureate Mass and commencement will be held May 30, 10 a.m., at the Dayton Convention Center. Valedictorians are Samantha Epling and Matthew Curliss; salutatorians are Christopher Connair, Michael Westendorf and Kelsey Mayrand.

Catholic Central, Springfield
The baccalaureate Mass and commencement will be held June 5, 7 p.m., at Kuss Auditorium. Valedictorian is Stephen Cantanzariti; salutatorian is Patrick McHugh.

Chaminade-Julienne High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated May 21, 7:30 p.m., at Emmanuel Church in Dayton. Commencement will be held May 23, 11 a.m., at the Schuster Center.

Elder High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated on May 25 at St. Teresa of Avila Church. The commencement ceremony will be held on May 27 at Xavier University’s Cintas Center. Valedictorian is Brett Niehauser; salutatorian is Joshua Kaine.

Bishop Fenwick High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated June 5, 6:30 p.m., at St. Susanna Church in Mason. Commencement ceremonies follow immediately. Co-valedictorians are Christine Hennel and Jacqueline Roth.

LaSalle High School
The baccalaureate Mass and commencement will be held on June 8, 7:30 p.m., at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Valedictorian is Nathan Huey; salutatorian is Michael Matthews.

Lehman Catholic High School
The baccalaureate Mass is scheduled for May 22, 7:30 p.m., at Holy Angels Church in Sidney. Commencement will be held May 24, 2 p.m., at the high school. Valedictorian is Aaron Bauer; salutatorian is Aaron Sprague.

McAuley High School
The baccalaureate Mass will celebrated on May 26, 7:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains. Commencement is May 27, 7:30 p.m., at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Valedictorian is Julie Krechting; salutatorian is Laura Krueger.

Archbishop McNicholas High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated May 26, 7 p.m., at Guardian Angels Church. Commencement will be held on May 27, 7:30 p.m., at Duke Energy Center.

Mother of Mercy High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated May 27, 7:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains. Commencement will take place on May 29, 7:30 p.m., in the high school auditorium. Valedictorian is Corinne Anne Miller; salutatorian is Grace Ellen Owens.

Archbishop Moeller High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated May 17, 6 p.m., at Good Shepherd Church. Commencement ceremonies are scheduled for May 21, 8 p.m., at Landmark Christian Academy. Valedictorian is Matt Almario; salutatorian is Daniel McCormick.

Mount Notre Dame High School
The baccalaureate Mass will take place on May 19, 7:30 p.m., at St. Saviour Church. The commencement ceremony is scheduled for May 26, 7:30 p.m., at the Oasis Conference Center.

Purcell Marian High School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated May 24, 2 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains, followed immediately by commencement. Valedictorian is Claire Suer; salutatorian is Jean Henry.

Seton High School
The baccalaureate Mass is scheduled for May 28, 7:30 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains, with the commencement ceremony immediately following. Valedictorian is Katie Ritter; salutatorians are Stephanie Weber and Courtney Scherer.

Summit Country Day School
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated on May 31, 2 p.m., in the school’s Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, followed immediately by the commencement ceremony. The valedictorian is Carolyn Nieberding; salutatorian is Kelayne Wilson.

St. Ursula Academy
The baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated May 23, 4 p.m., in the school’s gymnasium/convocation center. Commencement will be held May 24, 4 p.m., at Music Hall. Valedictorian is Kelsey Bowman; salutatorian is Jennifer Head.

Ursuline Academy
The baccalaureate Mass is scheduled for May 30, 3 p.m., at Ursuline Academy. Commencement will be held on June 1, 7:30 p.m., also at the school.

St. Xavier High School
The baccalaureate Mass is scheduled for May 31, 10 a.m., at the school’s Berning Gymnasium. Commencement will be held on June 3, 7:30 p.m., at Xavier University’s Cintas Center.
