Tuesday, April 28 A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Mercy Mary Andrea Simpson was celebrated April 23 at the McAuley Convent Chapel in College Hill. Sister Mary died on April 19 at the age  of 78. She was a member of the Sisters of Mercy for 51 years.

Wednesday, April 22, 2009 Father Frank X. Klamet, pastor of St. Benignus Parish in Greenfield and St. Augustine in Jamestown, was found dead at his St. Benignus residence April 19 by parishioners who were concerned when he did not appear for Sunday Mass. He was 57.
