April 30, 2012 Two parishes signed a “Covenant Partnership” on Epiphany Sunday bringing together two unlikely partners, Our Lady of Visitation, a predominately white parish from the west side of Hamilton County, and St. Leo, a small inner city parish whose members include immigrants from Guatemala and Burundi.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Gertrudis Pfeiffer was celebrated April 13 in the congregation’s motherhouse chapel. Sister Gertrudis, 90 died April 19. She was a Sister of Charity for 72 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Mary Ann Gutzwiller was celebrated April 10 in the congregation’s motherhouse chapel. Sister Mary Ann, 80, died April 3. She was a Sister of Charity for 57 years.
