Dr. Sandra Toenies Keating, associate professor of theology at Providence College in Rhode Island, will present, “Is Allah the Father of Jesus? What We Have Learned from 50 Years of Dialogue with Muslims.”
The free talk will will explore the Church’s teachings on Islam and the theological implications of recent developments in Catholic-Muslim relations. Dr. Keating is a member of the U.S. Bishops’ Catholic-Muslim dialogue group and has served as a Consultor on the Vatican Commission for Religious Relations with Muslims. Held at Bartlett Pastoral Center and open to the public.
