A Mass of Christian Burial for Missionary of the Precious Blood Father Raymond Schultheis will be celebrated Dec. 11 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Verona, Pa. Father Schultheis, 80, died Dec. 5 at St. Charles Center in Carthagena. He was a Missionary of the Precious Blood for 65 years.

A Pennsylvania native, he entered the order in 1944 and was ordained in 1956.

He was involved in parish ministry throughout his priestly career and was associate pastor at St. Augustine Parish in Minster. He also served at parishes in Cleveland, Detroit and Pennsylvania. He retired to St. Charles Center in 2001.

He is survived by two brothers Richard of Verona, Penn., and Gerald of Monroeville, Penn.

A memorial Mass was celebrated by Missionary of the Precious Blood Father Rev. Angelo Anthony at St. Charles Center Dec. 9.

Burial was in the St. Joseph Catholic Church parish cemetery in Verona.
