‘American Idol’ winner Kris Allen visits Seton: Cincinnati’s Seton High School joined local radio station WKRQ to raise $10,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness, and to reward their efforts, 2009 “American Idol” winner Kris Allen paid a visit to the school Oct. 15. Allen posed with students, performed songs from his debut album and praised their fundraising zeal. He joined sophomore Emma Lindle in a violin duet at one point in the events. A handful of students from area Catholic grade schools were also invited to take part in the visit. This is the third year in a row that Seton has hosted musical performers; Natasha Bedingield and “Idol” runner-up David Archuleta have also visited the school as a result of fundraising contests won by the student body.
