Sister Regina serves as the charism resource director for the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul of New York, a congregation she has been a member of since 1962. In academia she has held such positions as resident scholar at the Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research, Collegeville, Minn., and assistant professor of theology at Maryknoll School of Theology, Maryknoll, N.Y.

The St. Elizabeth Seton Medal is named in honor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, foundress of the Sisters of Charity, the congregation that established the college in 1920 and today continues to sponsor it.
