ST. FRANCIS DE SALES DEANERY — This year St. Ursula Academy will celebrate the founding of the school and the Ursuline Sisters of Cincinnati. One hundred years ago, St. Ursula opened at its current site in East Walnut Hills. It has since grown from two buildings to a full campus with nearly 700 students in grades 9-12.

The year long celebration begins Feb. 5 at 10:30 a.m., with “A Living History of St. Ursula.” The event will feature alumnae speakers from every decade, beginning with a graduate from the 1930s. The alums will share their stories and memories of St. Ursula. The students and guests will then sing “Happy Birthday” to St. Ursula and enjoy a special cake.
