CATHEDRAL DEANERY — Members of the Catholic Inner-city Schools Education Fund executive board were presented with an $8,000 check on April 21 — proceeds from the Colonial Charity Fund. CISE was one of six local charities benefiting from the 25th annual Colonial Charity Fund Tennis Tournament.

The presentation was made by Tim Beischel, a member of the tournament steering committee and a generous and long-time supporter of CISE. Accepting the check on behalf of CISE was Bob Hodge, board chairman, Brian Brockhoff, vice-chairman, and Cary Powell, CISE director.

Catholic Inner-city School Education Fund supports eight urban Catholic elementary schools in Cincinnati. CISE provides tuition assistance to students in low-income families, affording them the support, encouragement and excellent curriculum a Catholic education provides.
