Franciscan Brother Octavio Duran, a close friend of Blessed Oscar Romero, will speak on Romero at Holy Family at a free, bilingual event. A photographer who traveled often with Romero on his pastoral visits.  He took many of the iconic photos we have of Romero.  His talk, "Oscar Romero and St. Francis: Embracing the Lepers,"  will look at the spirituality of Romero through his Franciscan lens and his personal experiences with Romero himself.
