SUMMARY:Blue Mass at the Cathedral
DESCRIPTION:All are invited to the 13th  annual Mass to honor and pray for for police officers\, firefighters\, and others in similar lines of work. Father Steve Angi\, CPD Chaplain\, will celebrate. The Mass will be preceded by the National Anthem\, sung by John Winfrey of the CFD outside the cathedral at 10:45\, and the blessing of fire and police equipment on the street outside the cathedral beginning at 10:45. Deceased members of the Cincinnati Police\, Cincinnati Fire\, and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Departments will be recognized; blessed St. Michael prayer cards and medals will be distributed. A reception follows on the cathedral plaza.
