SUMMARY:Children's Sacred Art Summer Camp at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center Begins
DESCRIPTION:July 31-Aug. 3 “Symbols from Nature.” Children ages 6-15 will learn about symbolic images from nature used in Sacred Art History such as the sacred meaning of flowers\, plants and animals. Projects will include color images using symbols\, hand-painted tiles\, and mosaics to be placed in the Center’s new Children’s Garden. \nProjects will be displayed in a children’s art exhibit at the Center the following week\, concluded by the dedication of new “Children’s Garden of the Angels.” \nDonation/fee covers all materials and snacks; class size limited to 20. Please register before July 24.
