DESCRIPTION:Gather at the Festival Grounds in Newport\, Ky.\, for this annual celebration of life sponsored by a coalition of pro-life and pro-family groups on both sides of the Ohio River\, including the Diocese of Covington and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Join Archbishop Schnurr\, Bishop Foys\, and thousands of pro-life people for a brief program with speakers\, music by Easter Rising band\, food\, and children’s activities accompany the signature event: a celebratory walk across the Purple People Bridge and back. Free t-shirts (while supplies last). No signs are permitted at this event. Food trucks will sell festival food before and after the walk; free picnic food donated by JTM will be available after the walk. \nNewport Festival Park / Riverfront Row is below Newport on the Levee. For directions and parking information\, see the event website.
