DESCRIPTION:What: Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner and burial of the Alleluia\nWhen: Tuesday\, February 25\, 2020 Dinner at 5:30 p.m.\, burial of the Alleluia at 6:30 p.m.\nWhere: Maria Stein Shrine\, 2291 St. Johns Road\, Maria Stein OH 45860 \nJoin us on Shrove (Fat Tuesday) for a free pancake dinner at 5:30pm. All you can eat pancakes\, hash browns\, sausage and beverages. A good will donation will be accepted. At 6:30pm\, Father John Tonkin will perform the ceremonial “Burying of the Alleluia” in the Adoration Chapel. During the season of Lent\, the Church does not use the word Alleluia. A popular tradition is to bury the Alleluia as a symbol of this solemn Lenten change.
