DESCRIPTION:Capuchin Father GianMaria DiGiorgio knew Padre Pio as a grandfatherly figure eat the Capuchin Friary in SanGiovanni Rotondo in Foggia\, Italy. He was Economic Provincial for the Friary of Padre Pio\, where he was instrumental in correcting the New Church of St. Pio of Pietrelcina\, and helped direct many charitable efforts in Foggia. Currently Coordinator of Charitable Works for the friary\, he helps spread the word of St. Pio to the English-speaking world. \nReception 5:30-6:30 (light refreshments) and viewing of a film on the life of St. Pio \nDevotional items available for purchase — proceeds support a home for elderly priests \nDedication of new statue of St. Pio and outdoor procession with statue and relics\, 7:30 pm \nMass with Father GianMaria \nVeneration/blessing with relics of St. Pio \nEnd time approximate; contact the Center at (513) 351-9800 for information.
