SUMMARY:Holy Name Procession in Cincinnati
DESCRIPTION:All Catholic men and youth are invited to this third annual Eucharistic procession through the streets of Cincinnati. Once an annual event drawing thousands of participants and tens of thousands to watch them\, the procession was revived two years ago and drew 200 men the first year. Last year it drew 400\, and the organizers (the Holy Name Society at St. Antoninus) hope to attract 1000 this year. Priests of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri will lead; stops at several temporary altars for prayer. Procession begins at the cathedral and ends at Old St. Mary’s in Over-the-Rhine.
