DESCRIPTION:Author and speaker Joseph Pearce will speak on “The Battle for a True Education” at the annual IHM Homeschooling conference in Dayton. Presentations are free and open to the public; you do not have to be a parent or homeschooler to attend. In this talk Pearce will discuss what has happened to the state of education due to secular teaching philosophies\, and propose that restoring tradition-oriented learning is the solution to those ills.
