SUMMARY:Life Chain Observance in Kettering
DESCRIPTION:Gather with Christians from many traditions — from more than 70 parishes and churches — for the 30th annual Life Chain\, Dayton’s largest pro-life event. It is held on E. Stroop Road\, near the Haskell abortion business. Staging point: 1350 E. Stroop. Participants stand and pray in a chain\, then pray in unison standing with their church groups. While parishes and congregations are encouraged to come together\, individuals are welcome. From the organizers: \n\n“Annually\, on the first Sunday in October\, National Life Chain invites Christians in each city and town across North America to stand on designated local sidewalks and individually pray for one hour\, while holding one of the following approved pro-life sign messages:\n\n\n\n\n\nAbortion Kills Children\nJesus Forgives and Heals\nAdoption: The Loving Option\nLord\, Forgive us and our Nation\nAbortion Hurts Women\nPray to end Abortion\nLife —The First Inalienable Right\n\n“After this hour\, everyone is invited to stand together in groups to pray as a church for an additional ½ hour.”
