DESCRIPTION:“The Storm that Built Music Hall” concert.\, Nov. 4 and 5. As one of a series of concerts for the re-opening of Music Hall after it’s 18-month renovation\, the May Festival Chorus will present Bach’s “Magnificat” and Brahms’s Revelations-inspired “Triumphlied\,” as well as the world premiere of a new choral work by Julia Adolphe.  The first two pieces come from the May Festival’s 1875 season at Exposition Hall\, and a performance ruined by a thunderstorm that inspired the building of a new concert venue — Music Hall.  See link for ticket prices.
