SUMMARY:Polka Mass at Germanfest Picnic (Dayton)
DESCRIPTION:Dayton’s largest German festival runs from August 11-13 at Riverscape MetroPark (new location). The 34th annual festival will feature food\, music\, a Kidz Zone with games and rides\, German vendors\, a biergarten and weingarten\, a 5K and a 10K run\, and more. The annual Polka Mass allows attendees to spend the day (or weekend) at the festival and fulfill their Sunday obligation in a specially festive way. Father Bill Myers will celebrate; music provided by the Alpen Echos Polka Band and the Dayton Liederkranz Turner Choir (with assistance from Holy Trinity parish in Dayton).
