SUMMARY:Pray-Hope-Believe 5K Run/Walk in Colerain Township
DESCRIPTION:Flag ceremony at 8:15; race begins at 8:30 and walk a few minutes later; Superhero Sprint for kids at 9:30. Raffles; photographers and photo booth; children’s games; art show; balloon release; prizes for various ages; more. The 7th annual 5K run/walk benefits the Pray-Hope-Believe Foundation\, established in honor of St. Ann parishioner Tony Merk\, who died on July 4\, 2011\, after a three- year fight against pediatric brain cancer and which funds brain tumor research and supports children/teens who have a life-threatening condition and their families. Participants will assemble on Heritage Way for a mass downhill start. Course will be clearly marked and will wind through scenic residential neighborhoods finishing back at the Municipal Complex. Route is mostly flat with some gently rolling areas. Scheduled waterstops at 1 and 2 miles. Timers at 1\, 2 and 3 miles and finish. Professional Race Timing. Traffic will be controlled by Township Police. Teams an “virtual” registrants welcome.
