SUMMARY:Presentation Ministry Annual Bible Institute Begins at XU
DESCRIPTION:July 20-27. The 32nd annual Bible Institute will include a weekend of workshops and liturgies; one-\, two\, three- and four-day weekday seminars seminars; a Friday youth day led by Nathanael Egan and Co.\, a musical play based on the story of Esther; healing services\, Masses\, confession\, music\, and an introduction to the Guadalupe Bible College. Many of the sessions are of particular interest to those with a Charismatic spirituality\, including a four-day seminar on how to teach the Bible in “the power of the Holy Spirit\,” a three-day Life in the Spirit seminar\, and two seminars by Bill Richard. Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr will celebrate the Sunday afternoon Mass; Bishop Joe Binzer will celebrate the closing Mass on Friday; Father Niby Kinna of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (Covington) will lead a Thursday night Eucharistic procession; and Father Chris Clay (Lexington) will celebrate the opening Mass. Housing and meals are available on campus for a fee — all must be paid in advance. THIS YEAR THE UNIVERSITY FOOD COURT WILL NOT BE OPEN because of renovations; daily lunches for day-trippers are available from area restaurants.
