DESCRIPTION:ENJOY A GAME AND HELP FEED STRUGGLING FAMILIES\nJoin St. Vincent de Paul\, the Cincinnati Reds\, WLWT\, and 700 WLW in Striking Out Hunger this summer at Great American Ball Park! \nThree canned goods = 1 ticket to a future Reds game! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMOST-NEEDED ITEMS\nThis summer\, our most-needed food items include: \n\nCereal/Oatmeal\nCanned Meat (chicken\, ham\, salmon\, etc.)\nCanned Fruit\nSpices (salt\, pepper\, garlic)\nHearty Soups\n\nAre you interested in volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul? Visit our Volunteer page to learn more and sign up: https://www.SVDPcincinnati.org/volunteer/ \nJoin us at the ballpark on Friday\, July 12 and Saturday\, July 13 for Strike Out Hunger! \nFans who donate a minimum of three non-perishable food items before the games on Friday and Saturday will receive a free ticket voucher for a future Reds game\, with a limit of one voucher per person. \nCOLLECTION SITES: Volunteers will be located near the ballpark’s main entrance on Crosley Terrace\, as well as along Joe Nuxhall Way near the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum to accept donations. Donations will be collected from 5:00-7:30 p.m. on Friday and 2:00-4:30 p.m. on Saturday. \nAll donated food will be distributed through St. Vincent de Paul’s Becky & Ted Catino Choice Food Pantry in the West End and St. Vincent de Paul’s network of 13 neighborhood-based food pantries throughout Greater Cincinnati. \nIn Hamilton County\, there are nearly 115\,000 residents who are experiencing food insecurity. That’s enough to fill all the seats in Great American Ball Park over two and a half times. The good news is\, when we all pitch in\, together we can make a huge difference. \nLast summer\, fans donated over 8\,900 lbs. of food to the Strike Out Hunger food drive\, enough to provide nearly 7\,500 meals to neighbors in need.
