DESCRIPTION:Dominican Father Gabriel Torretta will present the second of two talks on “The Resurrection of the Body/The Goodness of the Flesh.” He will explain how the teaching of resurrection of the body follows from the humanity of Christ. “The dogma that Jesus Christ is perfect God and perfect man is the central mystery of Christ. From Jesus own time to the present day there have always been those who have rejected this claim. Seeing how Christ’s humanity has been portrayed over the centuries helps to understand who he is\, and who we are.” Presented by the St. Gertrude Adult Education Formation program. Attendance of the first talk is not required.
