DESCRIPTION:Dominican Father Clement Dickie will present the first of two talks on “The Resurrection of the Body/The Goodness of the Flesh.” He will explain the Christian doctrine that the dead will rise again in bodily form. “Even faithful Christians sometimes get the impression that death provides an escape from bodily existence. But the Scriptures are abundantly clear\, our hope is in the resurrection. We are not souls trapped in bodies\, but truly made to be body and soul.” Presented by the St. Gertrude Adult Education Formation program. Talk two will take place Dec. 12.
