SUMMARY:Ugo Sforza Organ Concert and John Edelmann Debut at Holy Angels (Dayton)
DESCRIPTION:Italian organist/composer Ugo Sforza will perform the fourth concert in his American tour at the Church of the Holy Angels. An organist and conductor in both Italy and Austria\, he has performed in concert series in both Europe and the United States. His program includes J. Clark’s Trumpet Tune in D\, Litanies by J. Alain\, and L Vierne’s 6yh Symphonie in B. Minor\, Op. 59 – as well last he first concert performance of Recessional No. 3\, “Pentecost\,” by Holy Angels Music Director John Edelman. The latter will be accompanied by Eric Knorr on trumpet and John Root on violin. A free will offering will be collected.
