DESCRIPTION:Sacred Heart Family of Parishes\nUpper Room to the Tomb at St. George\, 509 East State St.\, Georgetown\, OH\, 45121\nFriday March 27\n6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. \nA night of prayerful contemplation for Holy Week \nAs we prepare for Holy Week\, our parish will host “Upper Room to the Tomb\,” an evening of quiet prayer and reflection on the Passion of Our Lord. \nDuring the evening\, several sacred relics connected with the events of Christ’s suffering and death will be present for veneration. These holy reminders help us meditate on the Gospel and the depth of Christ’s love for us. The relics that will be present for veneration are: \nWood from the True Cross \nWood from the Table of the Last Supper \nFragment of marble from the Pillar of the scourging \nPurple Garment draped over our Lord as he was mocked \nRelic of the Holy Shroud of our Lord Jesus Christ \nThrough prayer and veneration\, we walk spiritually with Christ from the Upper Room to the Tomb\, preparing our hearts to enter more deeply into the mysteries we celebrate during Holy Week
