All area veterans are invited to La Salle’s annual Veteran Appreciation day. Archbishop Timothy Broglio, Archbishop of Military Services, will be the guest speaker at La Salle’s annual Veteran Appreciation Day. A native of Cleveland, Archbishop Broglio has been Archbishop of Military Services since 2008. Alumni Bishop Joseph Binzer (class of 73) will attend the ceremony, which will include a special recognition of Vietnam Veterans. Anyone who served “in theatre” or “in supportive roles” during the Vietnam War era will receive a commemorative Vietnam Veteran lapel pin, authorized by the United States government. La Salle is the only local high school to apply for and receive approval of the United States Government to award this  pin. Events include a social hour, assembly, and lunch featuring food from Skyline and LaRosa’s. There is no charge for any veteran. You do not need to be a La Salle alumnus to be recognized.
