SUMMARY:Youth Music Institute at NAPM Convention in Cincinnati Begins
DESCRIPTION:July 10-14. The Youth Music Ministry Institute\, part of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians convention being held in Cincinnati July 10-14\, is  a four-day\, three-night experience for youth involved or seeking to be involved in music ministry at their parish or school. Participants will be housed at Xavier University and interact with local and national peers; hone their musical skills with lessons from professionals in voice\, keyboards\, guitar\, brass\, winds\, percussion and strings; and learn principles of Catholic liturgy and music ministry. They will also have the opportunity to network with nationally-renowned pastoral musicians and attend some of the events outside the convention. The Institute is open to students who will be in grades 9-12 (including seniors graduating this spring). Please arrive at Xavier U. between 11AM-Noon on Monday. The program ends Thursday before dinner.
