Thursday, December 8, 2016.  A holiday tradition since 1964, Christmas on Campus brings 1000 area children to UD for a Carnival, Christmas crafts, performances, caroling, and a visit with Santa.  Hundreds of students participate and University of Dayton Alumni hold "Christmas off Campus" events across the United States, and even around the world.  This year's theme: "Where All Roads Lead Home."  All area families are welcome to attend.  For more information and to find out the time please call 937-229-3483…

The University of Dayton will present a staged reading of its new musical, "Spectacle," about founder Blessed William Joseph Chaminade at the 2017 Lay Marianist Assembly. Christmas on Campus at the University of Dayton

This annual event, perhaps the largest university service project in the country, is a tradition for many Dayton families and is open to the public. Nearly 1000 children from Dayton City Schools are paired with UD students for the event, which includes music, a visit with Santa Claus, a tree lighting, crafts, food, and more. UD alumni all over the world hold service events on or around this day, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Not a fundraiser -- witness to life with this ride from UD's campus to  North Park/Taylorsville Dam.  Fifteen or 3o-mil options. For 30-mile ride to dam and back, check-in is at 11 a.m. For 15-mile ride, check in at noon -- you and your bike will be transported to the dam to meet the rest of the cyclists, and will all cycle back together. Tolton: From Slave to Priest is a professional Catholic theater production based on the life of Fr. Augustus Tolton, the first African American priest. This live, one-man multimedia drama opened in October 2017, and is currently on a national tour, performing in venues such as churches, schools, and theaters. Tolton features all elements of professional theater, including set, lighting effects, video elements, and an original musical score.
