A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Irene Hrosky was celebrated Dec. 21 in the motherhouse chapel. Sister Irene, 89, died Dec. 6 at Mother Margaret Hall. She was a Sister of Charity for 70 years.

A native of Barberton, Ohio, Sister Irene taught at schools throughout the Cleveland diocese. She also served as an office and computer aide and librarian. In addition, while living at Villa San Bernardo in Bedford, Ohio, Sister Irene assisted in the ministry of the Shrine of our Lady of Levocha. She moved to the motherhouse in 2010.

Interment was in the Sisters of Charity cemetery.
