Talk on Raising Children Catholic at IHM
The first of IHM's Lenten talks, this features Joan Kingsland, who will speak on "How to Raise your Children/Grandchildren Catholic." Dr. Kinglsand is the training and development specialist at Ruah Woods and an adjunct professor at Mount St. Mary's Seminary of the West. The 2nd annual "Call to Love Vocation Retreat for Young Ladies" in Kentucky sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker in Walton invites young women in grades 6-12 to a packed day full of conferences by religious sisters, games, a convent tour, Eucharistic Adoration, food, and individual group meetings with the religious communities. Do you work with teens in any capacity? Training Camp is a day for coaches, youth ministers, and other "Spiritual Liaisons" to gather, hear witnesses from one another, and learn practical ways to apply new ideas to ministry. There will also be time for communal prayer and fellowship. Lunch is included.
