“Blue Christmas” Service at XU’s Bellarmine Chapel
"From Darkness to Hope: A Blue Christmas Service" offers prayer, hope, and helming to all all mourning a loss (the death of a love one, loss of a job, etc.) or feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or struggling. Light refreshments and fellowship follow.

Find out more »Christmas on Campus at the University of Dayton
This annual event, perhaps the largest university service project in the country, is a tradition for many Dayton families and is open to the public. Nearly 1000 children from Dayton City Schools are paired with UD students for the event, which includes music, a visit with Santa Claus, a tree lighting, crafts, food, and more. UD alumni all over the world hold service events on or around this day, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
Find out more »Bilingual Mass and Posadas at St. Bernard (Spring Grove Village)
All invited to an English/Spanish Mass celebrated by one of XU's Jesuit priests, followed by the traditional Mexican custom of Las Posadas -- a sort of pageant reenacting Mary and Joseph searching for a room at an inn, which ends with a celebration. Posadas begins at 6 p.m.; tamales and other traditional Mexican foods will be served. All ages welcome to this family-friendly celebration.
