God’s Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage Weekend Begins at Ruah Woods
Dec. 1-2. Weekend event (no overnight accommodations) that, when combined with the follow-up one-day course, meets the marriage preparation requirements for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Using materials created by Theology of the Body expert and speaker Damon Owens, facilitators will lead couples in a course that will help them understand how men and women complement each other, what marriage is for, and how God's plan for marriage leads to a happy life. Fee is per couple.

Dec. 1-2. St. Francis Seraph (Over-the-Rhine) is one of six historic venues, and Catholic choirs include the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Glee club and the Mother of Mercy Vocal Ensemble, at this historic German-style choir festival, revived after Cincinnati hosted the World Choir Games. Performances each hour at multiple venues. Tickets available for one or both days; both include free admission to the Brickmas LEGO Christmas display in Downtown Cincinnati. St. Andrew hosts its annual Winterfest, the parish's only fundraiser, on the first Saturday of December. It features food, children's activities, and Christmas shopping opportunities as well as a pancake breakfast, raffle, bake sale, silent auction, Santa Workshop for children, photos with Santa, flea market, and entertainment throughout the day.
