Dr. Sandra Toenies Keating, associate professor of theology at Providence College in Rhode Island, will present, "Is Allah the Father of Jesus? What We Have Learned from 50 Years of Dialogue with Muslims." All Catholic Men are invited to stand together and participate in the Men's Holy Name Society Eucharistic Procession in Downtown Cincinnati. Once an annual event drawing tens of thousands of men, this solemn Eucharistic procession through the streets was revived four years ago by the St. Antoninus Parish Holy Name Society, and continues to grow each year. Last of a 4-part series of talks on Cincinnati’s Catholic History by Father Davide Endres, dean of the Athenaeum of Ohio and a columnist for “The Catholic Telegraph,” will focus on change and continuity from 1950 to the present. The multimedia presentations will explore how German and Irish immigrants transformed the city’s history through a network of churches, schools, and charities and look toward the archdiocese’s bicentennial. Presence at previous talks not required.
