PCW Golf Classic at Pebble Creek
The 19th annual Marilyn Reinhold Memorial Golf Classic will include lunch, chicken dn ribs dinner, snacks, a $10,000 hole-in-one opportunity and other contests. Celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross with Maronite Catholic Divine Liturgy (Mass) followed by an educational gathering concerning international religious freedom, focused especially on Christian persecution. On the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross, Old St. Mary's Church invites all to a Solemn Traditional Latin Mass at 7 p.m., followed by an all-night Eucharistic Vigil. The vigil will conclude with 6:45 a.m. Mass on September 15, the Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Catholic singer/songwriter Matt Maher will headline "Illuminate 2018: Light in the Darke," Greenville's 12th annual Christian music festival, which also features Danny Gokey, Tauren Wells, Stars Go Dim, Tom Golly, Samuel Day, and B List Boys on two stages. Many events during the day, including a high ropes course, a rock climbing wall, a free coffee house stage, and more. Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr will celebrate a Mass to celebrate the 7th anniversary of St. Vivian Parish.
