Presentation Ministry Annual Bible Institute Begins at XU
July 20-27. The 32nd annual Bible Institute will include a weekend of workshops and liturgies; one-, two, three- and four-day weekday seminars seminars; a Friday youth day led by Nathanael Egan and Co., a musical play based on the story of Esther; healing services, Masses, confession, music, and an introduction to the Guadalupe Bible College. Chatfield is partnering with Hope Emergency for this year's 5K run/walk; bring any school supplies to the Hope Emergency school supply drive and receive $3 off your registration fee. Course is fast and flat; leashed dogs are permitted. Fee includes race entry, t-shirt, and post-race refreshments: $20 adults, $15 students and children. Bishop Joseph R. Bizner will celebrate Mass for the Feast of St. Ann, the finale of the parish's annual novena to their patron saint (novena Mass at 8:30 a.m., followed by coffee and donuts). Benediction precedes the feast day Mass at 5:30 p.m., a cooking followed with pie, pictures, and outdoor games.
