Apostello Youth Athlete Opening Gathering in Norwood
NEW! Through ongoing personal accompaniment, Apostello forms and commissions high school athletes to root their lives in Christ through His Church, and to share this Christian joy with their teammates and coaches as missionary disciples. This first-ever gathering will be followed by monthly events in which the athletes will grow and mature in Christ’s love for them, as well as in how to witness this to others, more specifically coaches and teammates. As part of the parish's annual Lebanese Festival, Father Alex Harb will celebrate the Maronite Catholic Divine Liturgy (Mass) in English. The liturgy will include the ancient Eucharistic prayer in Aramaic, the language spoken by Christ. All are welcome to attend.

St. Mary of the Woods Church will hold its first Eucharistic procession to the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine at Russell's point. The American Society of Ephesus purchased a liturgical canopy, required for a Eucharistic procession, from Italy for this and future processions.
