Formation, prayer, fellowship, more -- Nova is a day-long formation retreat  at the beginning of each semester for youth ministers, campus ministers, and volunteers. The day progresses through a series of topics that aim to experientially build a foundation on which youth or campus ministers can discern God’s will for carrying out youth evangelization and discipleship their parish or school. Men discerning a vocation to the Order of Preachers (the Dominicans) are invited to a half-day with the Vocations Director and novices. Meet mid-afternoon at St. Gertrude Priory for a tour of church/priory, vespers, a meal, a talk on Dominican life, and a chance to meet novices and hear their vocation stories.
