The last of the six-part Dayton Theology on Tap spring speaker series will feature Luke Carey presenting “Dreams and Disappointments.” Theology on Tap presents lively talks about Catholic life for young adults in a relaxed setting. The theme for the 2018 Spring Theology on Tap in Dayton is, “I’m Catholic, so now what?” Social time begins at 7 p.m.; talks at 7:30 p.m.

Kick off the parish's festival weekend and pray for the four men who will be ordained at Cincinnati's cathedral the next morning with a Holy Hour for vocations. May 18 and 19. Good Mourning Ministries will present weekend grief support workshop for anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one. While all experience loss in a unique way, healing can be an intentional process, where people gather together as a community of faith to become disciples of hope through prayerful reflection, practical learning, and personal fellowship. No tickets are needed to attend the annual ordination Mass, an ancient liturgy in which the archbishop exercises the authority given to the apostles to make new priests. The cathedral choir will sing. Parking and seating can be a premium; come early for choice of seats. Reception sponsored by the Serra Club follows in the undercroft.
