Robert Ellsberg Presentation and Book Signing at the St. Anthony Shrine
Author Robert Ellsberg will make a presentation about Franciscan saints, the subject of his forthcoming book, at the National Shrine of St. Anthony of Padua. The publisher of Orbis Books, Ellsberg is the editor of Dorothy Day's papers and is the author of "All Saints: Daily Reflections on Saints, Prophets, and Witnesses for Our Time." A reception with light refreshments will follow; meet the author and area Franciscan Friars.
Find out more »SportsLeader Football Rosary Rally at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West
SportsLeader will hold its annual rosary rally for high school (and other) football teams in the field outside Cincinnati's Seminary. Teams should wear their jerseys. A priest will bring the Blessed Sacrament and lead a decade of the rosary as sports rivals come together to begin the football season in prayer. Start time is 6:45, NOT 6:30 (the calendar software allows only half hour increments).
