Abortion Clinic Closing Celebration in Sharonville
After seven years of prayer and activism, Martin Haskell's Kettering abortion business closed its doors just before Christmas. Area pro-life leaders will hold a celebration in the parking lot of the Sharonville Women's Center, a pro-life pregnancy care center across the street from the now-empty-business, for all who have prayed in front of the business or who have supported efforts to close it. Sts. Peter and Paul Church, the mother church of the Petersburg Parishes, will be commemorated with at State Historical Marker at Petersburg Cemetery. Petersburg Regional Coordinator Rachel Barber requested the marker, which commemorates the church that gave rise to St. Joseph (Wapakoneta), St. John the Evangelist (Fryburg), St. Lawrence (Rhine) and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception (Botkins).
