UD law professor Dennis Turner, author of "What Did You Do in the War, Sister?" will sign copies of the book inspired by letters written by Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur during World War II and the role the sisters had in defeating the Nazis.

The 17h annual Corpus Christi procession at Dayton's oldest parish will begin after 5:15 Mass. Parishioners spend all day making elaborate patterns ("carpets") with colored wood chips on the streets outside -- an Old World tradition popular in many areas, but rare in Ohio -- which the procession passes over.

Wisconsin Schoenstatt Sister Marie Day will present "Portrait of a Holy Family and Gifts for Building These Families" after the 6 p.m. Mass. The presentation will be held on the lawn of the Holy Family Hall, weather-permitting - bring a lawn chair or blanket. Schoenstatt is a movement aimed at renewing the Church and society through deep love of Mary. Refreshments will be served.

Immediately following 10:30 Mass. The Procession will begin with incensing the Blessed Sacrament in the church, then pass through the doors of the church for a short outdoor procession through the streets. First Communicants may wear their First Communion clothes and servers may wear their albs. The procession will end with Benediction.

The region's annual German Day Week (an expansion of the 123rd German Day) will include a specially festive version of Old St. Mary's weekly German Mass. Weekend celebrations include all day performances and festivities at Cincinnati's Findlay Market Saturday and all day music and celebrations at the Hofbrau Haus in Newport, Kentucky, Sunday.
