Immaculate Conception Golf Scramble in Dayton
Fourth annual event; proceeds will be used to repair the parish's Marian shrine, damaged by vandals last year. Shotgun start at 9 a.m.,; lunch served after the round; $90/player or $350/team of four. To register contact the parish.

Kick off the parish's festival weekend and pray for the four men who will be ordained at Cincinnati's cathedral the next morning with a Holy Hour for vocations. May 18 and 19. Good Mourning Ministries will present weekend grief support workshop for anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one. While all experience loss in a unique way, healing can be an intentional process, where people gather together as a community of faith to become disciples of hope through prayerful reflection, practical learning, and personal fellowship. No tickets are needed to attend the annual ordination Mass, an ancient liturgy in which the archbishop exercises the authority given to the apostles to make new priests. The cathedral choir will sing. Parking and seating can be a premium; come early for choice of seats. Reception sponsored by the Serra Club follows in the undercroft.

Holy Family, the Latin Mass parish in Dayton, will present at concert of sacred music from composers living at the time of the Battle of Lepanto (1571).
