ABIDE Youth Conference Begins
June 14-18. Five-day conference for students grades 10-12 features authentic community and real ministry experience designed to commission teens to root their lives in Christ through his Church and share the joy He has given us with others. The touring youth choir One Voice from First Baptist Church in Easley, SC, will present a concert titled "This Changes Everything," a program of original music, script, and sacred dance. " The 45-voice choir is composed of students from grades 6 through college; each year the students adopt a tour mission project. A free-will offering will be taken to support the choir's training and this year's mission project: International Justice Mission, which rescues people from modern slavery.

The Sisters of Notre Dame will lead a pilgrimage walk from Mount Adams to Covington (approximately 6 miles) to mark the Via Lucis (Way of Light -- the Stations of the Resurrection). Meet at Covington's Cathedral at 7 am; carpool to Mt. Adams to begin the walk. Please bring a sandwich and drink you can carry.
