Tenebrae at Old St. Mary’s
The Ancient Office of Tenebrae will be sung by the Latin Choir at Old St. Mary's Church in Over-the-Rhine. This sung service features readings and hymns. Candles are gradually extinguished until the church is in darkness ("tenebrae" means "shadows"). The solemn service recalls the Passion of Christ.
Find out more »Taize Prayer Service at Immaculate Conception (Dayton)
This spiritual service take place in candle light while singing short hymns, repeated again and again. Using just a few words, Taize expresses a basic reality of faith, quickly grasped by the mind. As the words are sung many times, this reality gradually penetrate the whole being. Service ends with the Veneration of the Cross. Service takes place IN THE GYM.

All women 18 and older are welcome at this scripturally based, Stations of the Cross hike. An ecumenical event for all Christian women. Plan for a 2 - 3 hour guided walk. Materials will be available for those who wish to walk without a guide. There is no fee but all are asked to register so that enough booklets can be provided.
