Since 1860, Cincinnatians have "prayed the steps" on Good Friday. Bishop Joe Binzer will bless the steps on St. Gregory Street at midnight, after which thousands of people will ascend the steps to the Church. Visitors are invited to enter the church to pray . Two Passion services (2 pm and 7 pm) will be offered. Parishioners will serve donuts and coffee from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will host their annual Fish Fry from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The church will remain…

Find out more »Good Friday Ecumenical Walk for Justice and Peace in Dayton
A Dayton ecumenical tradition. Thirty faith-based communities sponsor a Walk for Justice and Peace beginning at the Old Courthouse, Third and Main Streets. Participants will shoulder crosses and make 14 symbolic stops on the west side of downtown Dayton. The event ends at First Baptist Church, 111 W. Monument St., followed this year by a soup lunch hosted by the church.
