Lunch with the Lord at St. Francis of Assisi
Lenten lunch presentation includes talk on Sunday's Gospel reading, free soup and bread, and free childcare for registered participants. This week's talk is by Denis Stieritz, a former theology teacher at Carroll High School. Held in the church's All Saints Room. Co-sponsored by St. Charles, St. Francis, St. Leonard, Ascension, Incarnation, and Our Lady of Good Hope parishes. Talk two of two sponsored by the Maria Stein Shrine Adoration Guild, both presentations will concern what prayer is, when and how to pray, different types of prayer, and more. Both all combine reflection on prayer with practice of different types of prayer, focusing on prayer as an encounter with God that deepens our relationship with Him and with each other.
